George Calvert

A graduate of Indiana University School of Music with distinction in 1983, George Calvert was a student of Stuart Sankey and later of Edwin Barker, Principal Bass of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He is currently Assistant Principal Bass of the Portland Symphony Orchestra and a substitute musician with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops and Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestras, and Boston Ballet Orchestra.
